Cayla has been a licensed, practicing Occupational Therapist since graduating from Boston University in 1984. She received additional training through the National Home Builders Association to become a Certified Aging in Place Specialist and received an Executive Certificate in Home Modification from USC Leonard Davis.
She has lived in the Triangle since 1988 and has worked with 1000’s of people across all kinds of cultural and financial spectrums. She has learned how often making simple changes in your home environment can make a huge difference in how safely we live.
After all these years of working for hospitals and helping clients after they already suffered an injury, she wants to share with you people strategies for safe homes that allow individuals to maintain their everyday routines and favorite past-times, and avoid those accidents and/or illnesses.
